Opportunities for Parental
Involvement:
On a

invited to help in our classroom. A sign up sheet is
placed in the hallway for volunteers to reserve a
time. When in the classroom the volunteer will be
given a specific center or job. We also have many
special days such as Valentines Day, Halloween…,
when we need extra hands. Parents in the past
have also volunteered to set up fieldtrips, to take
care of book orders, to pack and unpack backpacks,
to create and distribute the snack list and to pick
up books from the public library.
